Motorblog Norway's 'Scream' Rock Magazine: MHB Tore Bratseth, also of the 'Bombers - Bergen' Motorhead tribute band, made contact in July with a view featuring an interview in this magazine with the idea of generating some more MHB's. We did the interview over email and supplied some zany photos, and the result has now been published in the August issue, and with the circulation is around 7,500 per month it should be promising.

Motorblog 'The Birthday Party': pirate DVD debate has been discussed on the Message Board and in fanzine 82, but has been, I believe, brought to a final conclusion, for the time being, anyway, on the aforementioned Message Board.

Bloatermog Barry George Released From Jail: Since the day Jill Dando was murdered in 1999 I just had this feeling a hit man murdered her. Not that I am an expert on the matter, but the whole thing seemed to clinical, clean and concise for just some ordinary bloke on the street to have been guilty. The police took just over a year to bring Barry George in for questioning, and even when they did I was screaming at the TV screen "No! You've got the wrong man!
Saying as much in a fictionalised way from the point of view of the hit-man, I wrote 'The Message,' and later, as Mr George was wrongly convicted and excluded from the Internet completely, I re-published the book, (with an extra 20,000 words or so bringing this and other knowledge to bear), as 'A Conspiracy Of Silence,' which at the time, it was, as a Search for the name 'Barry George' brought no results whatsoever.
He was used as a scapegoat on very thin evidence, and now this evidence has been seen to be exactly what it is, he has been released from jail. Now the police have to 'find the real killer,' they won't, hit-men disappear in a small puff of smoke never to be seen again...
Bloatermog Am I Becoming Too Sensitive?: TV adverts. Hate them. They are repeated to the point of boredom, or, in my case, thumbing the 'Mute' button as their repitition has driven me to the edge. Those about abused children are the worst, no, children should not be abused in any way, but either the Charity gets the ads for free or they have far too much money; they are on far too often!
But have you noticed the feminine ads are on the increase (here in the UK)?
Pads for 'little leaks.'
Ads for 'thrush' cream because they're "itching down there!" Like we wanna know?
An ad telling us how they have developed this amazing tampon shape. Again, like we wanna know about the menstrual cycle when we're eating our evening meal, or any other time? Do they have no taste relating what is being advertised and the time of day it's on-screen?
Ads with women who have "a bloated feeling" - blokes don't worry about this, a couple pints of Guinness sorts things out in no time!
But women are far more delicate than us blokes, aren't they, yes, they are; but we don't need to have ads on TV day and night about fanny leaks and itches, tampons, and that they are 'bunged up,' BLOKES JUST GET ON WITH IT, THEY DON'T NEED ADVERTS TELLING THEM HOW TO GET THEIR BODILY FUNCTIONS - OR NON-FUNCTIONS - MOVING, WE JUST SORT IT LIKE WE ALWAYS HAVE!
