Motorblog A New Lemmy Interview: With news and views on all things Motorhead and beyond is now on www.imotorhead.com and well worth a look, as always, his opinions are worth their weight in gold. A shame this thing doesn't highlight the site for you, but it will do, eventually. It's probably on your Favourites or Bookmarks, so away you go.

Motorblog It's Everywhere: So it may as well be here, too. Ex- Guns 'n' Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver drummer, Matt Sorum, will take over the American tour dates in Mikkey Dee's absence.
There will be a new T-shirt design on offer in the December fanzine, both back and front designs are excellent and you will love it, I'm sure.

Motorblog Tour Dates for Russia: Two dates have been announced:-
December 17th - The Ice Palace, St. Petersburg.
December 19th - Lujniki MSA, Moscow.
Mikkey Dee's appearance on the Swedish reality TV show which is of a similar format to 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here' is the first time a show such as this will happen on Swedish TV. It will be a lot of exposure for Mikkey, and also for Motorhead as he regularly wears band T-shirts onstage and off.
A drummer deputising for the American tour dates Mikkey will miss will be announced shortly.

Bloatermog Radio Show 'On Hold': Rob Richardson, the splendid man at Express FM who keeps the 'Write On' programme cooking, has just emailed to say the interview (below) won't now happen until September or October.
This matters not. As I said just as we were going off-air on last year's appearance: "He's the Mariella Frostrup of the airwaves!" And he is. Writers have precious little radio or TV coverage, and other than Mariella's Sky Arts 'Book Show' all we've got is The Book Channel, who want us to PAY to appear! Fat chance of that, this boy isn't averse to publicity, but paying £500+ for the 'privilege'? No way!

Bloatermog Express FM: Have just emailed to ask if I'd like to do a telephone interview for their 'Write On' writers' broadcast. Not certain of the date yet, but will post it as and when.
http://www.expressfm.com/ will get you tuned into the internet broadcast, and apologies, as my Internet address doesn't highlight for you to do so directly from here.
The interview will cover the recently published 'Bournemouth Rocks!' book, which may also interest MHB's as it tracks the loss of The Who, Cream and Jimi Hendrix in 1969/70 and, 8 years later, finding Motorhead, whom will blush and be extremely flattered to know they took the place of all three by filling the void left in my life when Cream disbanded, The Who went on to 'Tommy,' which wasn't for me, and Jimi Hendrix passed away.

Motorblog I'm Mikkey Dee, Get Me Out Of Here!: Mikkey Dee will play just the first 3 dates of Motorhead's September tour with The Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy, as he will then be jetting off to spend 3 weeks in the Malaysian jungle as a guest contestant on the Swedish TV version of 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.'
A replacement drummer has yet to be found to cover the other dates, but if he isn't voted off, Mikkey will be back for the last few gigs on the tour.
Lemmy and Phil are happy with him doing the show as it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and Mikkey has promised to wave the flag, as ever, by wearing Motorhead t-shirts.
Who will step in for Mikkey?
Thanks to Artyom Golev (1916) for the info.

Bloatermog On The Horizon: My PC repair man will be here on Sunday to fix this piece of kit, (or should that be minus the 'k' and add 'sh'?), so I will be able to visit the Message Board again to find out what's been posted?
Meanwhile, the 'Bournemouth Rocks!' book is doing very well, and the local major bookshops have stock ready for a local 'Daily Echo' interview / plug in Monday's edition. Gleefully held whilst being thumbed through by one bookshop manager, who said "Wow! This is totally unique! A first for the Bournemouth area!"
And he's right!
With regard to the book, (see http://www.alanburridge.freeuk.com for Link), the copy of the Motorhead poster for the band's gig in Boscombe in 1989 will be removed for the 2nd print run, as the text covers the years 1960 to 1980, so it's historically incorrect! Apologies! It will be replaced with memorabilia from their 1978 Poole Arts Centre gig.

Bloatermog Bournemouth Rocks! Book: Had the launch, (photos are in the 'Scrapbook' section of the main site), and a couple of local radio interviews, and if you're interested, Links to get a copy are also on the website Main Page.
Most of you have had your copy of the August fanzine by now in all points of the world, whilst our heroes have a break before taking on their late August / early September American tour with Rev Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy.
Still having problems with this PC in that access to the Message Board is not possible until my repair man pays a call. He's been on holiday, so that won't be until early next week.

Motorblog In The Mail/Post: The 85th MHB's fanzine went into the mail/letterbox at 06.45 this morning and should be with most UK and European members around Wednesday or Thursday; rest of the world probably early next week.
This PC has been playing up recently so I am unable to get at the Message Board. If anyone has pressing matters, please email.
The website Main Page has an invitation to this evening's Book Launch for my 'Bournemouth Rocks!' tome, so any local MHB's are welcome, or, if you happen to be here on holiday, call in.
Otherwise, it's now available by Mail Order/Post:-

This PC also does not currently highlight Links - apologies.
