Motorblog Airborne 'Runnin' Wild' - Promo video features an excellent cameo role by Lemmy the Kilmister, and what a band they are, like AC/DC WITH a reincarnation of Bonn Scott's voice! http://www.roadrunnerrecords.de/page/News?&news_page=&news_id55877
and select Airborne from the playlist.
Airbourne were Special Guests on the Motorhead / Rose Tattoo Australian tour last year.
Thanks to MHB 1916 Artyom Golew for news of the clip.

Motorblog 'Rock Of Ages' - Sarmad will be uploading the local feature from the Bournemouth Daily Echo 'Weekender' supplement regarding the 'Sheep In Wolves' Clothing' CD release over the next day or so. Strangely, there have been no paparazzi milling around the front gate or scanty female undergarments with telephone numbers written on them left on the front doorstep since publication!
My thanks to Nick Churchill and Patrick Gough at The Daily Echo for the local publicity.

Regarding the April 18th post, Philthy Animal Taylor has sought Legal advice regarding this web posting. Willing as anyone to share a joke, Phil finds the slur far too personal and vindictive to allow it just to pass, and is asking for it to be removed from the Internet and an apology posted.

Motorblog Philthy Animal Taylor: Is alive and well despite some cruel web-posting to say he died of AIDS after using heroin; in fact, Todd Singerman actually called Phil to notify him of his 'passing' and Phil agreed that both his death and the reason for it are complete bollocks! There was even a comment from Lemmy about his long-time drummer's 'death' which sucks even more!

Time to put any shyness to one side and ORDER your copy of the Sheep In Wolves' Clothing CD.
So far it has gone very well, and thank you for your support, but...
those of you doing a quick bit of math on the figures might think the Fan Club is going to do rather well out of the project, but...
The contributing artistes were offered a fee towards the costs of recording their tracks; most have been paid but the others have to be; so a few more copies need to be shifted to cover this.
Not every paid-up Fan Club Member has ordered a copy yet, and with the stunning array of artistes involved, PLUS Lemmy, Fast Eddie and Philthy Animal either playing or adding their vocals to 2 of the tracks all that can be asked is what are you waiting for?
Most MHB's have bought in 2's and 3's, so in a couple of year's time it'll cost you probably 5 or 6 times as much bidding for one on EBay, so beat the clock and get your copy right now!

Motorblog Sheep In Wolves' Clothing CD: For any Motor-Pessimists out there, copies of our Fan Club CD are still available, so order your copy today. The initial spurt of excitement has now ebbed away so you'll still be in luck for this amazing compilation. Missed on previous listens, it sounds like Lemmy is doing a bit of backing vocal on the Girlschool's 'Metropolis.'

Pickles, the star of the Main Page slideshow, who would have been 20 next month, had to be put to sleep yesterday after those senior years caught up with her.

Motorblog Sheep In Wolves' Clothing CD: Has sold around 120 copies in less than 12 hours and that's just via PayPal, the Mail Order won't start getting here until Monday or Tuesday, later for The Rest Of The World. Thank you to everyone for buying a copy so far, and to those thinking about it, best not ponder too long though...
Fans are buying single copies, but also some in 2's, 3's and 4's, and one such fan has bought TEN (10) copies, probably as swaps for the collector's market or to make a few Bucks on EBay! (Or maybe he is buying Xmas Presents early or is just very generous and his friends have a fine gift on the way?) This is the next best thing to Motorhead's forthcoming new album, it seems!

Motorblog Sheep In Wolves' Clothing (Part26) The Final Chapter: The last time MHB's had an offer like this a mistake was made. All the fanzines went in the mail box at the same time, so when Croatia, Japan, USA and so on had their's arrive the offer had sold out! Not fair! A lesson learned. This CD offer may not sell out, but fans must be given the opportunity to get a copy wherever they happen to be in the world.
Yesterday, what is termed as 'The Rest of the World' fanzines were mailed out. USA takes about 4 days, the others a little longer; so I will also email as many as I have addresses for to let them know.
Tomorrow, the Europe and UK fanzines will be mailed out, they take 2 to 3 days and should hit the doormats on Saturday, hopefully the same day as most of 'The Rest of the World.'
Sarmad will upload the Mail Order and the PayPal Link on the http://www.alanburridge.freeuk.com/ site on Saturday afternoon / evening, so if fanzines haven't arrived, both the Mail Order and the PayPal Link details will be on screen for fans to order a copy of the CD.
The CD's will be sent out as from Monday April 7th and I think you will enjoy the tracks and wonder why someone didn't do this before? Well, maybe that's part of what Motorheadbangers is all about; doing the unusual and beating the odds; it's what the band have always done, and by and large, their fan club hasn't been much different! Someone might do it again afterwards, and I hope they do. Meanwhile, thank you for your support, interest in the venture and patience; it has taken a while. Also, a massive Thank You to the Artistes and Band's involved, and also the 3 men I couldn't have done it without; Tim Way, Steve Shepherd and Sarmad Sheikh.
