The Post Office: here in Upton is supported by MHB's with every stamp bought over their counter. I like keeping things local, because if I don't, it has a habit of being closed down. The large number of village post offices which have been closed down over the past few years have had little foresight behind the actions. Now, the people who supported them have to get in their car, or on a bus, and travel however many miles to do the same thing as they once did on foot; creating extra ozone emissions which, they tell us on the one hand we should be worrying about, whilst forcing us to counteract it on the other. Crazy!
